last week, follow photographer Jeanette Verster asked me if I wanted to join her for a shoot the sunday. The theme was “Ballarina’s gone bad”
It was a birthday shoot for Aasia. We got together at the Crowne Plaza Johannesburg where the venue was booked. As soon as people started arriving it was clear it was going to be an interesting day.
John was a Rabiest (Rabbi and Priest) and looked the part very successfully.
Nafisa had a blood splattered tutu on and I just loved the light while she was posing for Jeanette.
Denielle had lips covered in 100′s and 1000′s but nothing matched her pose
Zahira went all out and even had a torn soccer shirt on for the occasion.
Kellen had the most funky stars on her face which really worked well
It was a hard days shooting in a very difficult setting. The light was mostly dark and finding good shots without being in Jeanette’s view and shooting without lights was tricky.
I definitely cannot wait to get my own lights for next time.

Really glad you like them. Was so scared they would be crap. I’ll ask Bron to bring it into the office on a USB stick :)
