Life happens when you’re not looking

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again :

Life moves pretty fast

Only a few months ago we found out we’re expecting out second child, and yes I know I said “we” and it’s really just Bronwen, and before you knew it it was 3 months down the line and we were in the UK. Then six months down the line things started getting oversized in the tummy area, and just like that we’re a month away from birthday, and we’re scrambling to get the nursery ready, the cot built and the bassinet fixed.

Something I will also say again:

Expect the unexpected.

Yesterday, while Bronwen was taking Vicky for check-up, she had a funny feeling that she should check in with her gynea. A few minutes later she’s in bed with monitors on her tummy, and an hour later, in theatre, giving birth to our second child and daughter.

Juliet was born at 14:10 on September 28, 2010. 5 weeks earlier than planned and is currently in NICU to help her get ready for the real world. Her lungs is a little weak and still needs some help , but we’re sure everything will be perfectly fine in the end.

Never expect life to be predictable. I share my time between the halls of the hospital and getting Juliet’s rooms ready for when she comes home.

Life moves pretty fast, and sometimes in the directions of the unexpected.

Seriously Henti, let me know if you need help with anything… even if it’s just to talk about what you’re going through… I’ve been there, it’s not easy. Connor was in NICU for 17 days.
