I’ve been a tad of a hermit since I got home from my accident. It’s partly because it’s been too cold to go out and because I’m just not prepared to deal with going out in my broken state.
Today was different.
I met @jenty at work a year or so ago, and I’ve always admired her photography of people. A couple of days ago she posted a help call for her Moms with Cameras workshop. I poked the wife and she was over the moon to help.
So we arrived at the location at 15h00 with kids in tow to be shutter fodder for the mommies learning about their cameras. It was tons of fun and I hope the mommies got some nice shots from my “models” I was hoping to get some shots of the girls in as well, but I had my hands full with crutches, balloons and bags and in the end took much less photos that I had hoped, but still had a ton of fun.
I still need to become much more mobile and be able to get low to get some angles to get some of the shots I wanted, but I think it’s time I get out from the house to take photos again and start having fun again.
Below are some of the photos I took and please visit Jeanette’s Blog post for her take on the event
