Copycat and hell

It seem Murphy is hard at work in my life.
Life has been a little bit hectic the last week, hence no posts. I’m still trying to take photos, and post when I can, but things in the buying and selling of house department has gone from difficult to downright impossible. We’re fighting on both fronts to get the deals done without having to pay for things we’re not supposed to be paying for.
The little bit of sunshine this past week has been a good friend visiting from the UK, who came to stay with us on Thursday night with her daughter. Vicky and Kirsten get along so well. They play and laugh and it’s wonderful to watch.
Inspired by Jeanette we visited the Montecasino bird park to allow the girl to have some fun running around and looking at birds. We times it perfectly to see the 11 o clock show and after looking at Jeanette’s photos and my own on the day, I’m going to have to start saving up for a 70-200 F2.8 lens.
Luckily my good friend Paul from Divine Inspirations let me have a couple of days with his 24-70 F2.8 lens, so I could take some nice close-up shots on the day.
On a photoslave note, Damian and Sherian came to fetch their photos yesterday and seemed very happy with the results. I’m definately not going to move into the wedding or fashion photography photography areas. It’s not something that really appeals to me.
For now I’m happy taking photos of people living their lives and the occasional bird in a park.
