I bless the rains down in Africa

Few things in the world bring me as much joy as thunderstorms on the highveld.

Along with the first rains today, my daughter, Juliet, born just over a week ago is now breathing on her own. No mechanical assistance or pipes. Good old fashioned air.We have also started looking for a new house to call home and it’s raining. The glorious wonderful smell of moisture in the air is intoxicating. I want to run outside and soak up the gift from the sky.

With all these changes, more beckons. I’ve had some thoughts and ideas, and some opportunities have come knocking. With the rain comes new life and pains, more challenges and exploration.

Life is wonderful, and a gift. Live it to full potential.

Love that lightening shot. Something I’ve never managed to achieve but hope to one day ;)

      Hehe it’s easy.
      1. Find a good location
      2. Decent tripod
      3. Long exposure
      3. Profit :)
