Sick and tired

I apologize in advance.

I’m sick. Cold or flu, I’m not sure. I’m sniffy and snotty, coughy and achy, stiff and sore. Taking photos was not something I wanted to do today. I did, however, commit to a photo a day, not a great photo a day even though generally I take the time to make sure I get a decent shot with a decent idea.

Being sick the weekend you’re moving is not fun. I’m going to be even more sick and tired by the end, I’m going to need another week just to recover. I’m so not looking forward to it.

It’s very likely that I will not be able to post from tomorrow till who knows when. Telkom is coming to move the phone-line to the new house and that can easily end up with us being Internet-less. I will still try and take photos, and post them once I’m back on-line.

In the mean time, I direct you to some other photographers that have been very supportive of my efforts here.

First off there is Jeanette Verster She’s making quite a name for herself and rightly so. Very talented.

Then there is Sharon who lives out in the bundus near a golf course. I’m so jealous of the scenery and her photos are delightful.

Last, but not least, the man responsible for me owning my camera in the first place Edwin. He’s always patient when I ask him stupid questions about the technical stuff and a great photographer to boot.

P.S. I also have a flickr stream where I post all my other photos. Pop past, say hi.

Lets hope Telkom doesn’t mess this up and we have Internet by Monday.

Good luck for the move… you didn’t look well today at all

Good luck with the move, I hope it all goes smoothly. I also hope you feel better soon, it sucks being sick but it’s just HORRIBLE when you have to move as well! Thanks for the lovely compliment :-)
